Reviving the Heart of Torrington

Community appeal for renovating our abandoned local landmark to its former glory and beyond.

People of Britain! This is our Call to Arms!

On behalf of the community, and after 18 months of perseverance, negotiation and knockbacks, Amy, Ziggy, Nigel & Karen, have secured the chance to restore the Black Horse to its rightful place at the Heart of Torrington for the next 10 years or more.

The town has been desperately missing, for the past 5 years:

• A warm, welcoming place to gather, all year round
• The history within those legendary walls
• A boost to the local economy by working with local farmers, brewers and suppliers

The community urgently needs your generosity to complete the initial building works to get the doors open for Torrington's iconic Mayfair celebrations, followed by ongoing improvements to open up more of this historic building for locals and visitors to enjoy.
