Our History

 Nestled in Great Torrington, The Black Horse Inn

is a 16th-century landmark and Grade II listed coaching inn. For over 400 years, our walls have witnessed the unfolding of British history. With our iconic gabled frontage, original oak beams, and roaring log fires, stepping inside offers a timeless taste of authentic North Devon charm.
